DAC Columns
Our dynamic axial compression (DAC) columns can be used for SFC, HPLC or SMB. DAC technology provides a user-friendly method for packing preparative scale columns and makes chromatography possible on large ID columns. PIC Solution columns are packed using our FlexPacker Dynamic Axial Compression system.
PIC Solution preparative columns can be used for SFC, HPLC or SMB. The columns are available in 50, 76, 100, 200, 300 mm i.d. with integral heating jackets. SFC columns are designed to CODAP and ASME standards (maximum operating pressure of 300 bar) and built from 316L stainless steel and PTFE.
The columns are packed and unpacked by the user in a matter of minutes employing the FlexPacker Dynamic Axial Compression system. For SFC applications the piston in the column is blocked after packing to allow the high-pressure operation necessary for the technique. The cost-effective refill of packing material results in a column bed yielding superior durability and reproducibility.
The FlexPacker system is also used to pack Hemp and other natural products biomass into the extraction vessel resulting in a 2-3 folds increase in productivity.
